Confucius Institute at UNF Hosts Mid-Autumn Festival Concert

In celebration of the upcoming Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival, the Confucius Institute at the University of North Florida, in collaboration with Jacksonville University, will present a concert by the Changsha Normal University Department of Music and Dance at 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17, in the UNF Fine Arts Center, Building 45, Lazzara Performance Hall, Room 1100.
The concert will showcase various Chinese traditional instrument performances, including solos on the Zheng, bamboo flute, dulcimer, erhu and pipa as well as a traditional instruments ensemble. There will also be Mongolian and Tibetan duo dance.

The Confucius Institute at UNF is a collaborative effort between the University and Shaanxi Normal University in China.
