The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of North Florida will host a community volunteer fair from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 30, at the University Center on campus. This event is free and open to the public.

Several local not-for-profit agencies have been invited to share information on volunteer opportunities. The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute is a UNF Division of Continuing Education program for people age 50 and over who are interested in taking courses on a variety of topics ranging from The History of the Opera to Florida Friendly Landscaping.

The Lifelong Learning Institute is funded by a gift from the Bernard Osher Foundation, a San Francisco-based philanthropic organization that supports an array of educational and cultural programs.
