UNF history graduate program ranked #7 best in nation
March 4, 2020
The University
of North Florida’s history graduate program has been ranked seventh out of the
top ten in the nation by The Masters Program Guide.
Comprehensive
research and data were used to evaluate the four major factors considered in
the criteria ranking. These factors include earnings potential, affordability,
student satisfaction and selectivity.
With
its ranking in the top 10 Best Master’s Programs in History, UNF is included in
the list with other leading educational institutions such as Harvard,
Stanford and Columbia. The Masters Program Guide also noted that UNF is the
youngest institution on the list, which is a significant achievement since the university just recently received national ranking by U.S. News & World Report.
UNF’s
Master of Arts in History program appeals to students due to its affordability
and strong curriculum. It is also available in both thesis and
non-thesis paths that broadens its appeal. In addition, graduate students have
the opportunity to intern with local organizations such as the Jacksonville
Historical Society and the Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens.
