As vice president of international operations and customs services at Landstar Transportation Logistics Inc., UNF alum Alberto Maldonado, '98, '00, heads the department he helped develop and also guides UNF interns from theory to practice.

Fall is always an exciting time at UNF. It’s a pleasure and privilege to welcome freshmen and new students to our campus, as well as our existing Ospreys who are returning from study abroad, summer jobs and internships, or well-deserved summer breaks.

Heather and Peyton Harmon have attended many of the same classes, gone on hospital rotations together and completed more than 500 hours of community service. In August, the mother and daughter duo shared another significant milestone — they both received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.

The Seaside Sculpture Park at Jacksonville Beach showcases the work of five UNF sculpture students who got the opportunity to complete a project on par with that of a professional sculptor.

From the selection of the osprey to Ozzie's crowd-pleasing antics, UNF's beloved mascot has quite a history and almost didn't come to be.

The partnership between UNF and Belize dates back 30 years and includes everything from study abroad opportunities for student interns to countless students from Belize studying on UNF's campus. The relationship has yielded symbiotic benefits, lifelong friendships and many successes.
