Project Management Office

Clarifying purpose, improving outcomes.

Through dedication and leadership, the Project Management Office will provide expert services, facilitate governance, and promote the value of project management and business analysis across the University of North Florida.

Organizational Values

Live the OTUBIS+ Commitment

The Project Management Office commits at a minimum to bring every project it manages On-Time, Under Budget, and In Scope. The PMO also commits to making sure the projects selected position the university to organically respond to the present and future needs of the whole organization.

Positive Intent

Regardless of the outcome, the PMO understands and truly believes that everyone does the best job they can, given what they know at the time, their skills and abilities, the resources available, and the situation at hand.

Share the Knowledge

Project management and business analysis are practices best shared with as many people as possible. Everyone at some point in their career will serve on a project team or in evaluating and assessing an organization's business needs. Through the broad dissemination of these disciplines, current and future team members will be better equipped to participate in their next initiative or project.

Promote Collaboration and Teamwork

Build good relationships by trusting and supporting each other; involving each other by working together across boundaries, seeking ideas and sharing solutions; and providing constructive feedback to each other committed to everyone's development.

Infinite Quest for Knowledge

Our team recognizes that the more we know, the better prepared we are to solve the unexpected and live the OTUBIS+ Commitment. We are wholly committed to the continuous process of advancing our increasingly deeper understanding of project management and business analysis technically and functionally seeking out industry experts and resources to further the understanding of these disciplines.
