Description:
About fifty species of Juniper
are native to North America, Europe, Asia and north
Africa. Juniperus chinensis makes a
tall conical tree similar to Florida’s
native red cedar. The Hollywood juniper has an
open, irregular habit. It grows to about fifteen feet tall.
Location:
See the cultivar ‘Torulosa’ on the west side of the Aquatics Center.

Small tree to about fifteen feet tall.

Water: best in a well-drained soil, drought tolerant
Soil: best in a well-drained soil, otherwise not particular
Hollywood juniper grows well in a sunny, well-drained soil site in northeast Florida.
