Sibling Orientation

While big brother or sister is at New Student Orientation and you are at Parent Orientation, we have something for the younger siblings. The last thing they want to do is spend the day hanging around in sessions that will sound like a whole lot of “Blah, blah, blah,” and “Yada, yada, yada.” We want them to be excited about UNF and to have some fun on campus while they are here.

So, we have decided to offer a Sibling Orientation Program for siblings 9 to 16 years old. We think it is a great opportunity for them to get to know UNF, the place where their brother or sister will be living and learning over the next few years. Along with New Student Orientation and Parent and Family Orientation programs, our Sibling Orientation Program works to make the orientation experience one that the entire family can enjoy.

We only offer Sibling Orientation on the select dates listed below. Don’t worry if big brother or sister has already registered for another date. We can easily make a change to a date that offers a Sibling Orientation Program, all you need to do is call. While the New Student Orientation program is over the course two days, the Sibling Orientation Program is only a half-day and will be on the second day of the student’s Orientation program. The half-day program will give parents plenty of time to help their brother or sister with any needed appointments during New Student Orientation.
