Math Placement Testing

Your placement in a UNF math course is based on many factors, including: your intended major, dual-enrollment course work, accelerated mechanisms, and most importantly your score on the UNF Math Placement Test. You will meet with your Academic Advisor at orientation to discuss your placement test score and other components that will help you select a math course that best supports your academic goals.

Please complete the UNF Math Placement test from home via remote proctoring. Once you have registered for New Student Orientation you will gain access to the Math Placement Test course in Canvas located in myWings. Note, it may take up to 24 hours after you have registered for the course to show in Canvas. Scores will automatically report to UNF on behalf of the student. Please visit the "Next Steps Guide for New Students" course in Canvas for test exemption requirements.

  1. Login to myWings.
  2. Select the Canvas tile.
  3. On Your Canvas Dashboard select the Math Placement Test course.
  4. Read instructions carefully and follow the guide to download the remote proctoring software.
  5. Continue to start test.

If you have any questions or concerns about the Math Placement, please contact the First-Year Advising Office at or (904) 620-1012.
