About the Office of Faculty Enhancement (OFE)
The OFE is committed to supporting faculty development in the areas of teaching, research, and service, and is especially focused on collaborating with individual faculty members to enhance teaching excellence. We believe that promoting faculty development will enrich the educational experience of students, encourage a culture of innovation and improvement, and support the retention of quality faculty by fostering an engaged and supportive work environment.
To support these objectives, the OFE sponsors a variety of open forums, workshops, and programs throughout the year, some of which are offered through the Carpenter Library, the Center for Instruction & Research Technology (CIRT), and other UNF partners. A selection of current resources for self-directed professional development is found in the Virtual Faculty Lounge, a Canvas-based site which is easily accessible to all enrolled faculty. The OFE also offers individualized classroom observation with confidential critiques and personal consultations.
For the Fall 2020 semester, the OFE is operating remotely, Monday through Friday, during regular business hours. We look forward to hearing from you via email, and we will respond as quickly as possible. For the fastest response, please email Brenda Rolison with general questions and appointment requests.
