Discussion Group Policy

All Trans Talk participants must be currently enrolled in classes at the University of North Florida. Special considerations will be made for college students at FSCJ, JU, or another college/university. One-time exceptions may be made for visitors by contacting Dwan Love-Dinkens, Program Coordinator, at least one week prior to preferred visit. A one-time exception is not necessarily guaranteed.

The primary mission of these groups, as well as the UNF LGBT Resource Center, is to support LGBTQIA college students. Due to increasing attendance and need, the Center can no longer support community members within discussion groups like Trans Talks. In addition to the scope of the Center's mission, discussion groups must also follow safety and confidentiality agreements and safe space guidelines, which restrict most areas of service to college students and the campus community.
