Department Accounts

A generic e-mail account is one that is assigned to a department, and not a person. Instead of having an address such as jsmith@unf.edu, it would have a department name, such as budgetdept@unf.edu. It will allow student workers to receive Exchange e-mail, without interfering with their academic UNF e-mail. It will also allow a department to have a permanent e-mail address that they know will go unchanged from one semester to the next.

If a generic computer account is something that will benefit your department, please send a request to your college or department's C-Tech.
