Distribution Lists are used to communicate to various groups of people; including but not limited to employees and students. Each Distribution List has a designated owner who can add and remove people as necessary. People who would not otherwise be a part of a Distribution List can be added. There are three different kinds of distribution lists: Distribution, File, and Email.

Information Technology Services Enterprise Systems can assign “owners” to the various distribution lists. There can be more than one owner, but only one person can be the primary owner.

Once an employee is an owner of a Distribution List, then the employee can add and delete the additional people from the existing Distribution List.
