Recruitment

Electronic Prospects Post Match Processing

This process resolves data conflicts between the Electronic Prospect match process (SRRSRIN) and the Migrate Electronic Prospects process (SRRPREL). This allows for any prospects that are matched to have only the appropriate data loaded and/or overwritten. Currently the following actions occur:

  1. Finds incoming prospects that have parent data and deletes any existing parent data on the matched record. This allows for the process to load the new parent data without issue. The current configuration only allows for two records to be maintained with a P1 and P2 address, telephone and email.
  2. Deletes emails from incoming prospect records when a match occurs to a student or an active employee. This prevents overwriting email addresses.
  3. Finds matched students that could not load because their email address already exists and then deletes the email from the temp table and takes the student back out of suspense.
  4. Deletes emails that already loaded from incoming prospect records when a match occurs to a student or an active employee and the email address was marked as not preferred with WSA5634.

This job should be run after Electronic Prospect match process (SRRSRIN).  Once this job has been run, the Migrate Electronic Prospects process (SRRPREL) process may be run.  Currently these processes are automated for electronic test score loads and run in the following order:

1. SRTLOAD

2. WSA5634

3. SRRSRIN

4. WSA5635

5. SRRPREL

6. SRTPURG

Electronic Prospects Pre Match Processing

This process sets all the email preferred indicators on the temporary load table SRTEMAL to N in preparation for the Electronic Prospect match and load processes (SRRSRIN and SRRPREL).  This allows emails to only be created on the permanent table GOREMAL when they don't already exist and prevents the update of existing email addresses.
