Office 365 Mobile Device Set up

Below are links to directions for setting up a smartphone to read your UNF e-mail. Before doing this it is very important that you have a passcode on your smartphone, so if it is lost or stolon, your e-mail cannot be accessed. 

iOS 11

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Select Accounts & Passwords
  3. Select Add Account.
  4. Select Exchange.
  5. Enter your nNumber@unf.edu Example: n00123456@unf.edu (Faculty and Staff); n00123456@ospreys.unf.edu (Students)
  6. Enter what you would like for the description (Example UNF Email; Ospreys Email).
  7. Tap Next and choose sign in (Note: your email configuration will be automatically configured and the information you provided will be checked off.)
  8. At the UNF login screen below enter the following:
    • Username: Your UNF nNumber  Example: n00123456
    • Password: Your UNF password

  9. Tap Next.
  10. Select the desired services.
  11. Tap Save.

Android 

Follow the step-by-step instructions for setting up Office apps and email on Android

 

Use this info if set up manually:

  • Email Address: nNumber@unf.edu Example: n00123456@unf.edu (Faculty and Staff); n00123456@ospreys.unf.edu (Students)
  • When asked to join this account to Windows, say yes.

Windows 10

  1. Go to Settings -> Accounts
  2. Email & app accounts
  3. Add an account
  4. Exchange, Office 365
  5. nNumber@unf.edu for the “email address”. Example: n00123456@unf.edu (Faculty and Staff); n00123456@ospreys.unf.edu (Students)
