The mission of Academic Technology/Audio-Visual is to foster a campus-wide learning environment, conducive to learning and collaboration by providing high-level AV and instructional technology services and support.

We strive to provide intuitive, state-of-the-art, cost effective AV technology solutions in an effort to advance learning, instruction, collaboration, and research.

Services

Classroom & Campus Audio-Visual Support

We are responsible for management and support of the campuses audio-visual hardware throughout UNF and we provide scheduled & unscheduled maintenance for classrooms directly supported by ITS Academic Technology - Audio/Visual.  Additionally, we work closely with the helpdesk, College and Department IT Coordinators to support AV technology hardware installed in  the many discipline specific classroom locations as well as conference AV equipped technology training spaces.

AV technology classroom and space enhancements and Consultation

Our AV Technology Manager is UNF's contact for the campus's AV Technology requests for existing AV enhance space upgrades, complete space renovations and new construction AV design and system programming.  
 
Some of the services included but not limited to are:  
  • Complete needs assessment
  • Full AV technology space construction and design
  • Planning, standardization, mobilization and support
  • System and Design Evaluation
  • Project Management

Mobile Web-Conferencing

The Audio-Visual division provides a mobile web-conferencing solution for Non-DL (Distance Learning) funded small to medium conference, meeting and interview spaces (not for use in classrooms).  Our goal is to allow the different colleges and departments to experience the web conferencing experience with hope that they will consider purchasing a permanent solution.
