Fulbright Scholar Program
The Fulbright Program offers nine
different types of opportunities for faculty who want to participate in
teaching or conducting research abroad.
Awards are available from two months to an academic year. Fluency in the language of the country is
required by some countries, but most lecturing assignments are in English.
The Council for International
Exchange Scholars website provides complete descriptions of programs and award
opportunities available. Applications,
resources for applicants, and deadlines are also found on the website.
Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program Competition is closed.
The next full Core competition, for academic year 2019-2020, will open in March 1, 2018.
The Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program offers
teaching, research or combination teaching/research awards in over 125 countries
for the 2017-2018 academic year. Opportunities are available for college and
university faculty and administrators as well as for professionals, artists,
journalists, scientists, lawyers, independent scholars and many others.
