International Education Week 2021

Osprey Café will be offering an international cuisine option based recipes from UNF international students. You won't want to miss this fun meal!

International Trivia

6:00 PM - Virtual event @ospreylife Instagram

The Office of Osprey Life & Productions is hosting digital trivia on our Instagram story. Put on your thinking caps and bring your random knowledge to compete with other students. There are 5 categories with 3 questions each. Trivia is free for all current UNF students with a valid Osprey 1card. This event is funded by the Student Life and Services Fee.

You Odyssey what's happening in First Year Advising! The International Center and International Business sure know how to Plato their food. Join us for lunch (you'll want a pita this!) to talk about Study Abroad. Feta late than never!

 Twisted Tuesday

12:00 PM - Osprey Plaza

Osprey Life & Productions is hosting Twisted Tuesday pick-up. Come and stop by Osprey Plaza. All craft supplies are provided; all you need is your Osprey 1Card! The giveaway/craft is limited and is on a first come first serve basis. Make sure to arrive early!

Food starts at 11:00 AM.

During Market Days, students celebrate international education and awareness through food, such as macaroons, empanadas, zucchini meatballs, and Italian ice.

Multicultural Perspectives on Mental Health

11:00 AM - 12:00 PM in ELP Auditorium (Room 1700)

The English Language Program's Pre-University class will lead a panel discussion on mental health with multicultural perspectives.

International Center Student Awards 2020


  1. The International Center will recognize one UNF international student and one UNF Study Abroad Alum of the year.
  2. Winners will be announced at the 29th Annual International Dinner Dance held Friday, April 3, 2020.
  3. You can apply yourself or nominate someone you feel is deserving of the award. If nominating someone, please email with the individual's name and email address.

Award Requirements

  1. This award program is open to current UNF students only.
  2. Completed Application Form.
  3. A copy of your resume (to include club activities, study abroad experiences, and volunteer work).
  4. Each application must be accompanied by one essay on "The Value of International Education" (typed, two full pages maximum, one side only, double spaced, times new roman, 12 pt font).
  5. Entries must be submitted or emailed to the UNF International Center ( no later than Friday, 5:00 pm on March 27, 2020.
  6. 3.0 minimum cumulative GPA.

Additional Information

All essays submitted will become the property of the UNF International Center and will not be returned. Submitted application implies consent for use of essay, in whole or in part, by UNF International Center public relations materials, including but not limited to displays, publications, flyers, posters, social media and website with attribution to the writer.

Nominate a faculty member who has made a significant contribution to internationalizing UNF.
