Two years ago, during my exchange semester at UNF, I fell in love with the place. UNF has a unique campus with lots of green spaces, lakes and nature trails. You can find a lot of student clubs that will fit you: Business Woman, Biology Club, Catholic Club, etc., you name it. There are lots of chances for internship opportunities like UNF Career Fair, networking events, and more opportunities if you are members of those clubs. I know that finances is one of the factors that hinder international students to study aboard. UNF is an affordable university, they offer a variety of scholarships such as ISA, Non-Florida Tuition Waiver, and scholarship opportunities dependent on your major department. UNF scholarships gave me a chance and opened the door to pursue my degree here in the US. I believe that I have made the best choice to study at UNF.
What is your favorite thing to do in Jacksonville?
I love the Riverside and 5 Points, it is a gorgeous historic neighbor in Jacksonville with lots of good dining restaurants, vintage shops, beautiful parks, churches, and everything is in walking distance. The river is 2 minutes walking from my home and I live close to Memorial park, so I enjoy riding my bike and go for a walk around the area on the weekend. Especially, the Riverside Arts Market is held every Saturday and it attracts lots of people.
