Athletic Events

Faculty and staff receive discounts by showing their Osprey Card at athletic events.

Campus Bookstore

Employees receive a 20% discount on clothing, gifts, school supplies and general reading books. Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) passes also available for sale to faculty and staff.

Continuing Education

Faculty and staff are eligible to receive a 50% discount on most UNF Continuing Education classes starting on or after June 1, 2015. Please contact Continuing Education at (904) 620-4200 or email for additional information.

Nursing Nest

The UNF Women's Center has a private room designated as a lactation space. Nursing moms and parents can use the space via walk-in or by making an appointment with via the Women's Center office staff. Parents are required to bring their own pumps. For more information please visit the Women's Center's webpage.

Recreation & Wellness Summer Camps

The Department of Campus Recreation offers annual youth summer camp programs. The Youth Sports and Fitness Camp exposes campers to various indoor and outdoor sports throughout the summer, and EcoCamp is an outdoor adventure camp. Each camp offers weekly field trips, and discounts are available to faculty and staff. Contact the Recreation office at (904) 620-2998 for assistance.

SkillSoft Online Learning

Faculty and staff have access to several thousand free online courses. Business, professional and computer-related online courses ranging from writing effective business documents to solving problems as a team; from database design to programming and web development are available to employees free, 24 hours a day, via the internet. Skillsoft can be accessed via myWings Employee Tools.

Student Wellness Complex

The Student Wellness Complex offers 27,000 square feet of fitness floor space and is designed to accommodate novice to experienced fitness enthusiasts. The first floor floors offers a 34' rock climbing wall and group fitness rooms. The second floor is home to the Dottie Dorion Fitness Center which also includes the Dr. Paul Shirley Assessment Center providing personal fitness and nutritional assessments. The third floor has a 1/8 mile track that circumnavigates the perimeter of the building giving views of the fitness level, atrium, and fantastic outdoor views through its large windows. Facility use is FREE to full time faculty and staff. Memberships are available to family members. Please call (904) 620-5212 for more information.

UNF Preschool

The UNF Preschool offers a readiness program directed toward formal education for preschool children. Computers and movement education programs are also offered. A homework assistance program is available for all school-aged children. Faculty and staff receive priority enrollment.
