Open Enrollment
The Division of State Group Insurance announces that Open Enrollment for the 2024 plan year begins on Monday, October 16, 2023, at 8:00 a.m. Eastern Time and ends on Friday, November 3, 2023, at 6 p.m. Eastern Time. If you are eligible for benefits through the State Group Insurance Program, this is your once-a-year window to change your benefits plans outside qualifying status change events.
Be sure all changes are correct, including adding eligible dependents and removing ineligible dependents. Please remember all changes made during Open Enrollment take effect on January 1, 2024. You must also provide dependent eligibility verification for any new dependents that are added to your plans.

- Will be mailed to the address on file as of 6 p.m. Eastern time on Friday, September 29, 2023
- Will be available online starting Monday, October 2, 2023
- Open Enrollment is coming – on October 9, 2023
- Open Enrollment is here – October 16, 2023
- Open Enrollment Reminder emails – only sent to members who have not completed their OE elections
- Reminder – October 23, 2023
- Final Reminder – October 30, 2023
