Associate Director of Housing and Residence Life

Kristin has made "the nest" her home twice in her career, from 2008-2010 and then returning in 2014. Kristin received her Bachelor of Science in Sociology with a minor in Criminology from The Ohio State University and a Master of Science in Management from Indiana Wesleyan University. Kristin has over 15 years of experience in Housing and Residence Life with interests in occupancy management, women in higher education, bettering the student experience in housing, staff development and crisis management. In her free time Kristin enjoys to travel as much as she can, love on her dogs, spend time at the beach and volunteer.
As one of the Associate Directors of Housing and Residence Life Kristin oversees Housing Operations and Residence Life. Her responsibilities include: supervising the two Assistant Directors of Residence Life and the Assistant Director of Housing Operations. Some areas of oversight and processes that fall under Kristin's oversight include Residence Life, the contract and assignments process, Contract Cancellation appeals, Conference and Guest Housing, Orientation as well as the operations of The Flats at UNF. She also serves as a member of the Housing and Residence Life Senior Leadership team.
When to contact:
- Student in crisis or needing assistance with a concern that cannot be resolved by in-hall staff
- Concerns with the operations of The Flats at UNF that cannot be resolved by on-site staff
- Following up with other Residence Life Staff members
- To address concerns about Housing Operations staff (Office Staff/Assignments Staff)
