Senior Director of Housing & Residence Life

Bob made UNF his professional home in 2005 and has been serving as the senior housing officer since 2013. Bob received his Bachelor of Science in Education and Master of Science in Education from Jacksonville State University and has more than 20 years of experience in housing and residence life. Bob's professional interests are in the development, administration and improvement of residential facilities, crisis management and team development all with a desire to positively contribute to student learning. Additionally Bob is active within Florida Housing Officers (FHO), Southeastern Association of Housing Officers (SEAHO) and Association of College and University Housing Officers - International (ACUHO-I). In his free time Bob enjoys spending time with family and exploring Florida.

 

As Senior Director of Housing and Residence Life, Bob oversees the mission, initiatives and purpose of the department, including overall direction of more than 70 full-time staff members and more than 90 student staff members. Bob directly supervises the Associate Directors of Housing and Residence Life as well as the Assistant Director of Facilities and Assistant Director of Budgets. Bob actively serves on the University Crisis Management Team, Incident Management Team, Supporting Our Students (SOS) behavioral intervention team, Technical Security Committee and contributes to the direction as needed with relation to the UNF residential population and facilities.
