UNF Department of Art And Design Faculty Exhibition

UNF Gallery and UNF Gallery at MOCA

November 17, 2011 - January 20, 2012

The annual University of North Florida's Art and Design Faculty exhibition showcases new works of contemporary art from faculty and surveys the breadth of work currently produced by its art professors. It is an opportunity for students and community members to gain a sense of the professional work produced by the department.

The 2011 UNF Department of Art and Design Faculty Exhibition presents  an opportunity to view works created by full-time and adjunct faculty members including: Jenny Hager, Alex Diaz,  Dominick Martorelli, Kyle Keith, Chris Trice, Nofa Dixon, Louise Freshman Brown, Paul Karabinis, Vanessa Cruz, Dave Begley, Trevor Dunn, Emily Arthur Douglass, Jesse Nolan, Lance Vickery, Jim Draper, Raymond Gaddy, David Lauderdale, Don Bied, Tiffany Whitfield,, Deborah McKinney, Mark Creegan, Jason John, Laura Colomb, Hillary Hogue and Stephen Heywood

"The UNF Gallery at MOCA has been privileged to host the faculty show since 2009, shortly after the museum became a cultural resource of the University," said Marcelle Polednik, director of MOCA. "It is an outstanding venue to provide Jacksonville with the opportunity to see the tremendous artistic talents of our University colleagues."

Many of the faculty artists in the exhibition have had their work shown locally, nationally and internationally, receiving top recognition for their art.
