The Lufrano Intercultural Gallery will be the location for Pre[serve] 2019, a juried art exhibition open to all UNF students and alumni featuring works inspired by the Sawmill Slough Preserve, a 382-acre nature preserve located on UNF's campus. The Preserve has been a focal point of campus life since the University's founding, and students have played an integral role in its preservation.
This juried exhibition continues that tradition by encouraging students and alumni to venture into the Sawmill Slough Preserve and find inspiration from nature. The accepted works will highlight the importance of conservation. In addition, Pre[serve] 2019 will include a series of workshops and lectures discussing artistic techniques and native flora and fauna within the Sawmill Slough Preserve.
The Opening Reception is Thursday, March 28, 2019, 5:00-7:00 p.m. The exhibition will be on display from March 28 through April 26, 2019. The Lufrano Intercultural Gallery is located in the UNF Student Union/Bldg 58E, Room 2401 on UNF campus. All gallery events are free and open to the public. Recommended parking is the Arena Parking Garage/Bldg 38. UNF charges $5 for daily parking (no charge on Fridays after 5:00 p.m.)
