Mission and Vision

Group of diverse UNF Greek leaders

Since our first fraternal organization chartered in 1977, the University of North Florida has become home to 28 recognized fraternities and sororities and is currently comprised of approximately 11% of the undergraduate student population. Over the past 40 years, our chapters have demonstrated that membership in a Greek-letter organization provides students with the opportunity to become engaged both on campus and within the Jacksonville community, further develop their leadership potential, and graduate sooner than non-Greek affiliated students.

The Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life empowers students to reach their full potential and become contributing citizens through developmental and intentional experiences that engage them in collaboration, leadership, and commitment to personal values.

Fraternity & Sorority Life at the University of North Florida strives to provide students with a healthy and inclusive environment that fosters personal growth, commitment to the greater community, and an unparalleled leadership experience which in turn attracts students seeking to better themselves and produces students who set the standard among others in their lives after college.
