Assistant Dean of Students and Director of Supporting Our Students (SOS) Program
David serves as the Assistant Dean of Students and the Director of the Supporting Our Students (SOS) team. David partners with various campus offices, staff, faculty, and community resources to help ensure that any student in distress feels supported, heard, and confident in confronting and overcoming personal challenges and barriers. The SOS team works to create a healthy and safe campus community by identifying and intervening with students in physical, mental, and/or emotional distress and connecting them with appropriate on-campus resources.
David has over 10 years of Higher Education experience and is currently working on his Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Florida. He earned his Master’s degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of South Carolina. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in English and Psychology from Florida State University.
