Compliance with laws, regulations, rules and policies is an expectation of all UNF employees. The University Compliance Office seeks to assist each member of the University community in understanding compliance obligations by providing education and training opportunities in a number of different areas. The Compliance handouts are available as tools for enhancing knowledge of compliance requirements and obligations. Campus Sexual Assault Online Training (Title IX Compliance)
The Campus Sexual Assault Training provides understanding to UNF employees on the obligation each person has under Title IX should they encounter a situation involving sexual misconduct. The presentation informs employees of their responsibilities as part of the University's commitment to providing students, faculty, and staff with a safe educational environment.
UNF Code of Conduct and Ethics
The UNF Code of Conduct and Ethics is a collaborative effort between the Office of the General Counsel, the Office of Human Resources and the Compliance Office.
Clery Act: Security on Campus and Crime Reporting
The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act is the landmark federal law, originally known as the Campus Security Act, that requires colleges and universities across the United States to disclose information about crime on and around their campuses and enforced by the U.S. Department of Education. This federal law mandates the disclosure of certain statistics regarding criminal incidents that occur within the geographic boundaries of an institution of higher education. The course, offered by CPDT, is designed for Campus Security Authorities responsible for encouraging crime victims and/or witnesses to report crimes to campus police. The course will cover an overview of the Clery Act, identifying campus security personnel and their responsibility, discussing which crimes need to be reported and how to report, answering questions about the Clery Act, and providing resources and contact information.
