Accounting and Finance - Undergraduate

Change a degree-major of an existing program Bachelor of Business Admin - Financial Planning

Summary of the changes:

Financial planning is a sales-oriented profession. Even when products are not sold, financial planners are always selling themselves to clients. MAR 4400 - Professional Selling is a perfect course for our curriculum. The Financial Planning Advisory Council, consisting of 15 industry professionals from various companies, unanimously supports this addition. The Financial Planning program has recently begun to utilize industry-specific software in its curriculum, such as eMoney and MoneyGuidePro. As a result, there is less of a need for students to take ISM 4011 - Introduction to Management Information Systems and ISM 4011 is being removed from the program of study. This change will leave the total number of credit hours unchanged at 120.

Management - Undergraduate

Change a degree-major of an existing program Bachelor of Business Admin - Business Management

Summary of the changes:

The Management department provides a course for which we would like to change the course name/title.

The course is MAN 3025 Administrative Management. The name is outdated and not in line with other SUS schools or schools outside the state. We want to change the name to MAN 3025 Principles of Management. The course numbering, description, and content would not change, only the course title.
