Biology - Graduate
Change a degree-major-concentration of an existing program
Master of Science- Biology Major
Summary of the changes:
This request is to create a non-thesis track within the MS in Biology. This non-thesis track will emphasize experiential learning through internships and lab research, without a full written thesis component. This track will primarily be used for the later development of a BS/MS degree within Biology. The total credit hours required is 36.
In order create this track, we are creating two new courses BSC 6XXX Advanced Graduate Research, and BSC 6XXX Graduate Internship in Biomedical Sciences. These new courses will allow formal course credit for experiential learning and lab research.
