Courageous Conversations: Busting our Biases

Busting our Biases Our unconscious mind is a warehouse of past experiences that includes things like perceptions, intuition, and subliminal desires. Although these influences rarely reach our conscious minds, they play a significant role in influencing our decisions. Join us for a courageous conversation on understanding our biases and learn strategies to overcome them. After the speaker presentation, small group discussions will take place.

When: Thursday, October 18 from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m.
Facilitator: Brandi Winfrey, Assoc. Director for Department of Diversity Initiatives
Location: Delaney Student Union Ballroom, Bldg. 58W, Room 3703
