Greetings from AAFSA:

Dear Colleagues,

The African American Faculty and Staff Association (AAFSA) at the University of North Florida (UNF) is committed to enhance your professional development, expand your social network and heighten your cultural awareness.

It is my honor and pleasure to serve as the president of this exceptional organization. Our membership is comprised of UNF faculty and staff who strive to build influential networks and create strong collaborations with the broader UNF and Jacksonville communities. Whether your interest is career advancement, communications, finance, technology, service to others, professional growth, politics or cultural awareness, AAFSA has a place for you! AAFSA has several committees open to members of the association: Marketing and Communications, Events and Activities, Member Affairs, and Finance. Your service to the organization through committee involvement is invaluable to the progression of AAFSA's mission.

I am extending an invitation to you to get involved with AAFSA. I urge you to join us as we launch exciting initiatives for the upcoming year. I promise you that AAFSA will prove to be both rewarding and productive for your University experience. I encourage you to continue exploring our website, view our Facebook page and follow our tweets on Twitter for updates, activities, news and photos.

Please feel free to contact me at should you have any questions. I look forward to meeting you.

Best regards,

Wanda Lastrapes
