These scholarships are selected by the respective outside donors and are not part of the Coggin 'General' scholarships and fellowships. Scholarship awards are presented directly to the selected recipient at a professional meeting to be determined by the donor.

General

Scholarship Eligibility Award Deadline
Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation Clay Ford Scholarship
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must have financial need as calculated through the completion of a FAFSA application
  • Must meet the ethnicity, gender or racial minority status designated in 288.703(4) F.S
  • Must demonstrate scholastic ability and
  • performance in upper level accounting courses
  • Must plan to sit for the CPA exam
  • Must have complete 120 credit hours from an accredited institution in Florida
  • Must be entering a 5th year accounting program at an accredited institution in Florida as defined in 473.3065 F.S for the Fall, 2017 semester, or must complete the 120 hour degree program in the Fall to receive consideration for a Spring 2018 scholarship
  • Must be a Florida resident as defined in 473.3065, F.S
$3,000 - $6,000 per semester June 1, 2017 Apply
NAB Dollars for Scholars Award
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must be currently enrolled in high school with the intent of attending a university in the following semester, or must be currently enrolled in college.
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 2.8
