Shannon is the founding Director of the Career Management Center, which opened in May 2007. With a focus on quality and relevance, Shannon leads strategic initiatives for both the Career Management Center and the Coggin College of Business as a member of the Dean’s Executive Committee. She spends a significant amount of time making connections in the Jacksonville business community with a goal of creating mutually beneficial relationships. Shannon is also the Instructor for the Internship Program for students majoring in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Management and International Business and is the Advisor to the Women in Business Society, one of UNF’s largest and most successful student organizations.
Melinda

Melinda assists students with identifying a rewarding career path and the tools they need to be successful. She also collaborates with the Graduate Assistant to provide résumé critiques, career counseling, and workshops for students. In addition, Melinda supports the director with coordinating and promoting the center's exemplary professional development programs: S.T.A.R. (Skills to Achieve Results), Coggin Ambassadors, and the Coggin Mentor Program

Dee Dee meets with students regarding internship interest, the internship application process, and promotes the internship program to students in the college. She collaborates with the Assistant Director and the Graduate Assistant to provide career exploration, résumé/cover letter critiques, and various career related workshops to students. In addition, Dee Dee assists with the various events and student programming offered by the center.



Christine

Christine manages a variety of special projects for the Director in support of both the Career Management Center and the Coggin College of Business.   

Christine recently graduated from the Coggin College of Business with a degree in Marketing and a minor in International Business. She is a former Coggin Ambassador, Coggin Mentee, and Women in Business Society Vice President. She also was the 2016 recipient of the Coggin Ambassador Senior Service Award and the Osprey Community Engagement Medallion. Christine plans to start the Coggin MBA program in spring 2017. After graduating, Christine hopes to work in a management or leadership role, while staying active in the community to make a positive impact.

Olivia works in support of the Center Director, handling a variety of special projects as well as initiatives that require financial expertise. Olivia is a Master of Accountancy student that recently graduated from the Coggin College of Business with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, summa cum laude and University Honors from the Hicks Honors College. She was actively engaged on campus as an undergraduate student and is now pursuing her CPA licensure in her free time! After graduation, she will be joining PricewaterhouseCoopers as an Audit Associate where she has twice served as an Audit Intern.

Briea serves as the primary point of contact for students and employers wanting to engage with the Career Management Center. In addition to supporting the day to day operations of the Center, she assists with recruiting initiatives including on campus interviewing, special events and professional development programs. Briea is majoring in Business Management and minoring in Entrepreneurship and will graduate in the spring of 2018. She hopes to pursue a MBA at UNF after graduation and launch a career in human resources.

Adriana is majoring in International Business with plans to graduate in the spring of 2019. She currently serves as Delta Gamma's Director of Intrafraternal Activities. After graduation Adriana envisions an internationally focused career in professional sales.
