Mock Interview Program

A mock interview allows students the opportunity to interview and interact with a member of the Jacksonville business community in one of many professional fields.

The focus of the interview is to stimulate actual interviewing conditions to assess interviewing strengths and weaknesses, receive insights to dramatically improve interviewing outcomes and help develop self-confidence during the interview process.

How does it work?

The mock interviews are tailored to your individual occupational area and industry. During a mock interview session, a volunteer employer provides constructive feedback on all aspects of the job interview process.

The interviews are scheduled from 1:00- 4:00 p.m. on each date. The interview typically lasts 30 minutes, with a feedback form filled out by the employer, evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of the student.

Why you should do a Mock Interview?

  • Helps to reduce interview anxiety by familiarizing you with the interview process
  • Boosts your confidence about the things you are doing well
  • Allows you to preview any interviewing weaknesses you have
