Major Declaration

Transfer students will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis for appropriate ASL placement prior to admission. Admission to the upper 48 hours of coursework requires a 2.75 GPA and Limited Access Screening.

Students may not declare a major in ASL/English Interpreting until admission to the final 48-credit-hour coursework via Limited Access Screening.

All students who are interested in pursuing ASL/English Interpreting at UNF should contact the Program Director, Dr. Sherry Shaw at interpretingdegree@unf.edu for a program entry conference (either in person or videoconference).
