Our Support

The Robinson Eminent Scholar Endowment Fund was established by the late Frederick H. Schultz in 1987 in memory of Dr. Andrew Robinson, a respected community leader, founding principal of Raines High School, dean of the UNF College of Education and interim president at the University of North Florida. At the time it was the first educationally oriented Eminent Scholar chair among Florida's nine State University System institutions. Today the Center for Urban Education and Policy aims to foster collaborative efforts to catalyze educational leaders from all sectors in the community and develop a core body of knowledge that can effectively guide policy and decision-making. We are so deeply appreciative of Frederick H. Schultz's generous gift that affords the Center the opportunity to take a leadership role in the urban education arena, nationally, regionally and locally.
