Spring 2020 Graduate Recognition




  • Dr. Dan Richard's article “One Hundred Years of Social Psychology Quantitatively Described" has been cited by more than one thousand other papers. The article was published in the December 2003 issue of Review of General Psychology
  • Dr. Anita Fuglestad co-authored a paper titled “Four-year follow-up of a randomized controlled trial of choline for neurodevelopment in fetal alcohol spectrum disorder” published in the Journal of Neurodevelopmental Disorders
  • Dr. Tracy Alloway appeared on local news station WJXT to present some tips on activities that will increase well-being while social distancing due to COVID-19
  • Dr. Elizabeth Brown and Dr. Curtis Phills along with Dr. Jennifer Wesely, professor in the Department of Criminology & Criminal Justice, published "Words matter: A qualitative content analysis of campus crime alerts and considerations for best practices" in the Journal of American College Health
  • Dr. Dominik Güss and Dr. Teresa Tuason, Department of Public Health, published the peer-reviewed article “Gun violence in the United States in 2017 and the role of mental illness” in Behavioral Sciences of Terrorism and Political Aggression
  • Dr. Tracy Alloway received the Outstanding Faculty Scholarship Award
  • Dr. Katherine Hooper received the Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Award
