mortgages and promissory notes in Duval County, Florida. Results presented below
indicate that men and women appear on mortgages at nearly identical rates.
However, when both genders appear on the mortgage, men are more likely to

the University of North Florida reflects foreclosure cases filed in Duval
County from August 29
, 2014 through August 31
, 2018. The PORL was contracted by Jacksonville Area Legal
Aid (JALA) to collect and analyze foreclosure data in Duval County in the
summer of 2014.. The PORL was once again contracted by JALA to update the
existing data in the summer of 2018; those results are displayed in this
This report was prepared for the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office (JSO) following the administration of the JSO Community Survey. This report serves to gauge community perceptions of public safety in Jacksonville, Florida (not including the Beaches Communities). The PORL administered a telephone survey from November 30, 2018 through December 13, 2018. To ensure a representative sample was being collected, the county was stratified using the six JSO patrol zones, which are broken down into sectors and sub-sectors so that officers can easily naviagate and find neighborhoods within the community. Quotas were placed on each of these stratified areas to ensure a proportionate amount of completed surveys from across the zones.
Opinion Research Laboratory (PORL) at the University of North Florida conducted
the following analysis on behalf of the Jacksonville Aviation Authority (JAA).
The dataset being analyzed is the Airport Service Quality Survey (ASQ),
conducted by DKMA for Airports Council International (ACI). According to ACI,
the ASQ “is a comprehensive ACI initiative to help airports in their continuing
efforts to improve the quality of service experienced by passengers.” The
following analysis includes data from 109 airports worldwide from 2017 through
the first two quarters of 2018.
PORL conducted an analysis of the City of Jacksonville's Municipal Code Compliance Division (MCCD) current policy that prevents the MCCD from inspecting and enforcing violations in HUD properties.
Jacksonville Sheriff's Office (JSO) sponsored this poll to gauge community perceptions of public safety in Jacksonville, Florida (not including the Beaches Communities). This survey was conducted from November 14 through December 12, 2016 through live telephone interviews with adult respondents in Jacksonville, Florida. This survey resulted in 1,711 interviews across the six JSO patrol zones. The margin of sampling error for the total sample is +/- 2.37 percentage points.
The Florida Fourth Judicial
Circuit Poll was conducted Monday, June 27 through Thursday, June 30, 2016 by
telephone. Samples were created through voter files provided by each county's
board of elections and selected through the use of randomization among likely
voters. Calls were conducted only in English, with 747 registered likely voters
18 years of age or older. Likely voters were considered people who had voted in
either four out of the last five statewide elections (presidential preference
primary in 2016, statewide primary elections in 2012 and 2014 and general
elections in 2012 and 2014). Voters who voted in at least the 2014 statewide
primary election and were newly registered voters that voted in the 2016
presidential preference primary were also included as likely voters. In
addition to be considered a likely voter, respondent indicated that they would
"Definitely Vote" or "Probably Vote" in August's primary
