Media Week 2014 Schedule

The UNF Department of Communication's Media Week 2014, which ran from Oct. 20 to Oct. 24, helped students get insights from professionals in advertising, public relations, journalism, and production. Media professionals visited communication classes, engaged students in specialized Q-and-A sessions, spoke about global and domestic diversity issues, and participated in a panel on the state of the media industry.

A day-by-day schedule of Media Week 2014 events can be found below. In addition, several of the events listed include links to video of the presentations.

Monday, October 20

Opening Keynote Speaker, Terry Anderson

The former AP journalist and Hezbollah kidnap victim, now teaching at the University of Florida, will share his experiences and his thoughts concerning the current state of the journalism industry.
