Stephanie Araujo is a proud UNF alum (1977) and was pleased to join the School of Communication faculty at her alma mater in 2012 as an adjunct, while still working in the PR profession. She is currently a full-time visiting instructor. Araujo began her decades-long professional communication career as a broadcast reporter and later moved to public relations, practicing in both the public and private sectors across a broad range of industries including retail, healthcare, public transportation, engineering and more, both in PR/advertising agencies and on the client side. Her experience also includes advertising, marketing and journalism. A member of the Public Relations Society of America, Araujo received her Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) certification through the Universal Accreditation Board in 2002. Araujo has taught all the core courses in the public relations concentration and some electives, including: principles of PR, PR writing, PR case studies, PR campaigns, crisis communications and PR and event planning. Araujo believes her decades of professional experience allow her the opportunity to better share real-world experiences with her students.
