Within that broad framework, his research has dealt with such diverse issues as cultural political economy of the media, media diversity, international communication and globalization, and critical media literacy. He has published his research in highly ranked academic journals including Information, Communication & Society; Media, Culture & Society; Javnost-The Public; Internet and Higher Education; and Asian Perspective, among others.
