Dr. Lufaso teaches General Chemistry I and II, Inorganic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry Laboratory, Advanced Inorganic Chemistry, Solid State Chemistry, and Senior Seminar in Chemistry. He also teaches an Honors section in General Chemistry II.

Research Interests

Dr. Lufaso's research is focused on the following areas in inorganic chemistry:

  • Solid-state synthesis of new materials
  • X-ray diffraction and crystal structure determination
  • Structure-property relationships in inorganic oxides
