Dr Eng teaches General Chemistry I and General Chemistry II labs. He has taught Intro to Chemistry lecture/lab, General Chemistry I/II lectures/lab, Bioorganic Chemistry lecture/lab, Organic I lecture/lab and Inorganic Chemistry lab. In 2010, Dr Eng was the primary author/editor of the UNF General Chemistry I lab manual.

Former research

Dr Eng's former research was in solid state chemistry, analyzing electronic and crystal structure of transition metal oxides for photoelectric structure-property relations; pulsed-laser deposition of cobalt oxides for thermoelectric properties; and calorimetry and structure analysis of oxides.

Dr Eng is an avid bridge player, reaching the rank of Gold Life Master (the top 7% of US players), and bridge teacher; a history buff; and a big sports fan of the Aggies, Buckeyes, Dallas Cowboys, and Spurs. He diagrams football plays and dreams of dunking the basketball over LeBron James.
