Requires grades of C or above. Courses must be taken in prerequisite order. Electronic approval must be obtained each semester for courses whose prerequisites are transfers. Students will be administratively withdrawn from courses if earned grades in prerequisite courses are less than a C.

This degree requires a minimum of 120 total hours with 48 upper (3000/4000) level hours.


Free electives may be courses in any discipline (provided the required prerequisites are met) and they are the hours needed to satisfy the total hour requirement. Up to 12 credits of graduate-level coursework from the following list can be used as free electives for those students admitted to the BS-MS Biology Accelerated Pathway:
Grades of "B" or better are required in all graduate courses. Twelve of these credits can be used as free electives for the undergraduate degree.
