Elizabeth Heuer is an Assistant Professor of Art History at the University of North Florida. She received her MA and PhD in American art history from Florida State University. Her principle research interests lie in the field of nineteenth and twentieth century American visual and material culture. Heuer’s scholarship covers a wide range of theme in American art, such as corporate art and patronage, tourist art, postcard studies, and the art and ephemera of World War I. While maintaining a research agenda that includes broader national themes and subjects, she has also developed a special expertise in the history of southern and Florida art.
