Student Success Coordinator
Growing up, I always dreamt of learning about other cultures, international politics, and world affairs. This led me to UNF where I graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies, with a discipline in International Relations and a minor in Political Science. During this time, I also focused extensively on many forms of Geography, including cultural, economic and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). I was also a collaborator in a project for the UNF Digital Humanities Institute titled “Visualizing Refugee Jacksonville”, exploring the experiences of refugee communities here in our city, which is something I am very passionate about. I now intend to pursue a Master of Arts in International Affairs.
Throughout my undergraduate years, I worked in the service industry in an airport helping travelers throughout their day, and I worked hard to travel more myself. As a senior, I completed a program abroad in Chile studying the global mining industry. Having studied the Spanish language and Latin American history, it was during this trip when I really fell in love with the region.
In my free time, I really enjoy spending time walking through my beautiful neighborhood of Riverside, exploring locally owned places, enjoying the arts, the good vibes and all the diversity that this community has to offer. After being away from the university for a while, I quickly realized how much I missed the atmosphere there. UNF is a second home to me, and we have a great team here at COAS. I look forward to working with you as your Student Success Coordinator!
