Military and Veterans Resource Center
Welcome to the Military and Veterans Resource Center!
MVRC was established in 2009 to serve as the center point entry for veterans and their families as they navigate the civilian and academic worlds.
Staffed by veterans, the overall goal is to deliver tangible tools and services to optimize academic success leading to graduation and employment opportunity. This effort involved collaboration with the following offices:

For a 8th consecutive year, UNF is included on G.I. Job's 2017 list of Military Friendly Schools, which honors education institutions that are doing the most to "serve America's service members and veterans as students."
The UNF MVRC in conjunction with the UNF SBDC, and the UNF Coggin College of Business was selected as one of four Florida universities by Veterans Florida to participate in an innovative statewide entrepreneurship program for veterans! The program will offer veterans access to high value, entrepreneurship education. Each university will offer the same curriculum and dedicate existing small business development resources to the program!
Mary Mowbray John Mowbray, and Rob Keefe Mary Mowbray, John Mowbray, and Rob Keefe - the first recipient of the Melvin M. and Mary E. Mowbray Scholarship. Rob presented Mary with a Chief Petty Officer memento during a visit to the Military & Veterans Resource Center on February 10. The memento was a naval challenge coin inscribed with Rob's rank.
**U.S.News & World Report ranked UNF No. 32 for "Best Colleges for Veterans" Southern Region and was the ONLY Florida public state university to make the list!**
