Vivian Senior is enjoying a long professional career at the University of North Florida, currently serving as a Director in Career Services and an adjunct instructor for the College of Education & Human Services. A proud UNF alum, she completed a M.Ed. in Counselor Education and a B.A. in Psychology. Vivian personifies leadership. For over 25 years, she has managed the creation and implementation of programs, services and resources targeted to career and life planning and has developed and led teams to ensure students select meaningful majors and are career-ready. She has also served on numerous university committees. A certified professional in the use of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and Strong Interest inventory, she has helped individuals and workplace teams identify personal preferences and apply insight to decision-making, teambuilding, communication skills and leadership. Vivian is also a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and extends her leadership and breadth of knowledge, skills and experiences to the campus and local community through the delivery of presentations and professional development and training workshops. Her greatest accomplishment is her 19 year old son, Clayton, a college sophomore, who continues to challenge everything she thought she knew.
