A tenure-earning position at the Assistant Professor level in the School of Computing at the University of North Florida is available beginning August 2015. The successful candidate will have an earned Ph.D. degree (or be close to completing the degree) in information systems or equivalent from an accredited institution. A commitment to excellence in teaching will be expected of the successful candidate, along with a demonstrated ability to establish/conduct a productive research program; must demonstrate excellence in research through international top-level publications; and will be expected to conduct and supervise research in Information Systems related topics. Research areas of particular interest are business intelligence, data/text mining, and large-scale systems development. Collegiality, active service and participation in governance in accordance with the vision and mission of the school, college and university are also expected. Position responsibilities will include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in information systems.
