Ways to Give

Thank you for your interest in supporting computing, engineering, and construction education, research, and programs at UNF.

Each gift plays a critical role in advancing the College toward new levels of excellence - expanding academic opportunities, improving student activities, supporting faculty teaching and research efforts, and providing state-of-the-art facilities. Depending on your personal goals, there are many gift opportunities available to you.

Annual Gifts

Annual gifts allow the college the flexibility to support student competitions, professional club activities, and other STEM educational outreach programs. These activities increase the pipeline of students entering the program and provide valuable hands-on experience in a team environment to the students in the program. Want to make your gift reoccurring?

Planned Gifts

Gives of life insurance, stock, charitable gift annuities, charitable lead and reminder trusts, and stock are among many creative charitable contributions that maximize your philanthropic goals while minimizing cost. Your gift will enrich the lives of current and future students and can create a family legacy that lasts for generations.

Scholarships help UNF recruit talented students to the program, help students who are working and going to school at the same time and bridge the gap of financial need. Your gift to support tuition, books and fees will go a long way towards helping a student graduate sooner.

Endowed scholarships.  A gift of $25,000 will ensure that your “named” scholarship lives on in perpetuity. This is a wonderful way to recognize your company, family member or organization while providing financial support (only earned income is distributed each year) to well deserving students. Criteria for the selection of the student is determined by the donor and the College.

Annual scholarships.  A gift of $500, $1,000 or more will provide a deserving student. This one-time gift provides financial support towards books, tuition, and fees.

Major Gifts

Charitable gifts of $25,000 and more provide donors with distinguishing levels of naming opportunities for buildings, scholarships, fellowships, professorships, chairs, and much more. These gifts can be endowed whereby they continue to give in perpetuity (earned income is distributed annually) or a contribution that has a specific gift amount with an identified number of years for annual distribution.

Equipment and Company Product Donation

Does your company have equipment that supports the training of engineering, computing, or construction management that you are no longer using? Received a government contract for a specific project and the equipment is no longer needed? Have a piece of equipment that would be a great project for a senior student to figure out how to fix? Consider donating to the College, our faculty can advise on the usefulness and how it helps to support our curriculum.
